Galden heat transfer fluid is a patented, high performance heat transfer fluid specifically designed to provide superior heat transfer performance in a wide range of industrial processes. Fomblin oil – Y-LVAC Perfluorinated Polyether Vacuum Pump Fluid
Fomblin oil is an inert lubrication oil and sealing for vacuum pump (dry pump) which transfers combustible or corrosive gases. Fomblin oil has superior features such as high resistance to chemical, solvent, thermal and electricity. It has properties of that similar to PTFE/ Teflon but different in the state of matter. It is liquid at room temperature and it has a wide working temperature range.
Fomblin oil is used to replace hydrocarbon oil for safety reason as it is a non-flammable lubricant and do not react with corrosive gases.
Areas of applications where fomblin oils, greases and lubricants are used include aerospace, automotive, chemical, military, nuclear and data processing. Often used as heat transfer fluids for semiconductor, electronic, electrical and solar energy.
Fomblin oil is a very environmental friendly product as the used and contaminated lubricant can be recycled by means of process through advanced filtration methods and be reused.

About Scandium Metal
Scandium is a transition metal with the lowest atomic number. It is a silver-white metal that develops a light yellow/pink cast when exposed to air. Scandium has a much higher melting point than aluminum, and like other transition metals, it is susceptible to weathering and will slowly dissolve in dilute acids.
Scandium is a relatively soft element, resembling yttrium and other rare earth metals more than common ones like aluminum or titanium. Scandium is very light and has a much higher melting point than aluminum, making it of interest to spacecraft designers. It is not attacked by the 1:1 mixture of nitric acid (HNO3) and 48 percent hydrogen fluoride (HF).
Scandium is the 50th most abundant element on the earth. It is very widely distributed, and occurs in minute quantities in over 800 mineral species. Scandium can be found in the minerals thortveitite, euxenite and gadolinite. It is also produced as a byproduct of uranium refinement.

The main use of Scandium is in the making of aluminum-scandium alloys for aerospace industry components in the manufacturing of aircraft. When added in a trace amount (about 0.1% to 0.5%) to aluminum, it increases the strength of aluminum manifold, without increasing its weight. Its use in aerospace industry though, is restricted to specialized aircraft owing to the high cost of this element. Another use of Scandium is in aluminum-scandium alloys for sports equipment, such as bicycle frames, lacrosse sticks, and baseball bats. This is done because the aluminum-scandium alloy allows for high athletic performance. Scandium is also used to make high intensity lamps. Scandium iodide is added to mercury vapor lamps to produce a light source with a color resembling sunlight, which is important for indoor or night-time colour TV transmission. The radioactive isotope Sc-46 is used as a tracer in refinery crackers for crude oil.
Diamond Lapping Films
Diamond been the hardest bulk material are often used to mark or create a line of weakness on other material for cutting. Industrial diamonds are primarily used as abrasive for grinding and polishing. They can be applied as free particles in slurry or in compound, it can also be bonded on solid substracts; The diamond found on the diamond lapping films are of industrial diamond bonded with coating of resin on thin polymer film.
Diamond lapping films are used to remove hard material such as metals and ceramic effectively. There are different roughness which are differentiate by the grit (0.1/0.5/1/3/6/9/15/30 microns) of the diamonds. Diamond lapping film of a higher grit would provide a rougher cut and a lower grit would produce a smoother or polished surface. A progressive change of the films from higher grit to lower grit during polishing can often achieve a required polishing much faster and uses lesser films.
Much of these diamond lapping films are used on material research and study as well as sample preparation for quality control and failure analysis. The electronics and semiconductor need to prepare well-polished samples with clear features to be captured on microscope (OM/SEM/TEM) for customers to monitor the quality as well as for failure analysis. The diamond lapping films can remove practically all the hard and tough materials use for making IC chips. Some of the common materials are silicon, copper, aluminium, ceramic, polymer, tungsten and gold.
Diamond lapping films produce a surface of a better flatness over using polishing cloths. It can be achieved when it is properly secure to a smooth polishing platen. With the use of diamond lapping films and polishers, user is to produce cross-sectioned sample of silicon die in a quarter hour compare to traditional method which can take up to a day or more.
Inland 45 rough pump oil is a synthetic hydrocarbon fluid that permit strain-free cold starts as a result of their low pour point and high viscosity index – its viscosity is lower than that of a typical vacuum pump oil at low temperatures. In addition, because it maintains its viscosity at high temperatures, it provide a good seal under full-load condition.
Inland 45 unique molecular structure enable it to perform under low vapor pressure, good chemical resistance and high temperature stability superior to those of other high performance oils such as white oils.
Inland 45 is non-toxic, non-corrosive, and reclaimable. It is compatible with Buna-N, neoprene, and Viton elastomers. It is also miscible with petroleum-based oils, Freon, aromatic solvents, and flushing fluids.
